Just picked up my post-rust buyback truck. A 2006 TRD SR5 Taco. The chucklehead who owned it before me installed an aftermarket radio and now it and the clock do not work. I checked all the applicable fuses and still nothing. Although a minor detail, still it drives me crazy when something doesn't work. I would love to hear any other things to check......

Gratz on the new truck! Did you buy it from a dealer? If so I'd let him fix it before driving yourself nuts. Good luck.

Well, after a few hours and actually looking at the manual, I found there was a fuse I didn't check and sure enough, it fixed everything. I also took out the head unit and re-taped the wires. This guy did a nice hack job. Thankfully, it still works.

I bought this from a dealer, but it isn't close. These things are hard to find, especially with the buy back program in full swing.

    Thanks for the info...
