Sounds awesome. My four banger is the same color and it looks great. Hard to keep looking clean though.

    Enjoy it!

Set money aside and get ready to put more money into it then you intend too.

Toyota Care Platinum 125K on my '14 DC OR was $1800 (they have a Sam's Club/Costco discount that they didn't offer up originally), you have 30 days to rethink it and cancel. Had it on my 05 DC Tacoma, put 207K on it and never used the extended warranty.

Love that color. I had my heart set on SM, but ended up getting the PM because I don't enjoy weekly detailing (especially during duck season).

Apparently they don't make a lot of the SM DC OR's, back in February there was a long wait for one.

My first mod was replacing the OEM rearview mirror, adding a auto-dimming Gentex (the OEM brand Toyota uses) which has outside temp, compass, and integrated Homelink. Missed the outside temp display I had in my '05. I would highly recommend this upgrade. Install was a breeze, detailed in this thread:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...mp-sensor-install-2014-off-road-pictures.html

Message from Bob Prim (RJP869 on this forum)- mirror and harness was at my door in a couple of days after placing the order.

I have the mirrors available...I've got more on the way, should be here tomorrow. Kits are $299, and include a new Gentex autodim compass temp homelink mirror, custom wiring for the 2014 Tacoma (you do have a '14, right?), temperature sensor, installation hardware & wire cover. Shipping included too.

Let me know if you're interested & I can then send you a Paypal invoice...you can pay it with a Paypal account if you have or a major credit card if you don't. Please respond directly to me at rearviewmirrors@csinet.net if you'd like to order one.

I also missed the cup holder from the 2005, those little rubber inserts are tiny. The old style allowed a can with Koozy or you could move it and add a coffee cup. Another convenience mod to consider.

Step tubes,Window tint, HomelinK rear view mirror, changed the entune image screen Rear Differential Breather Relocation Extended AC condensate hose KB Voodoo tailgate cap Redline Tuning QuickLIFT ELITE hood lift system.
That sounds nice, I have had mine five months.
2014 TRD Offroad 4x4, V6, Entune plus, towing package, step tubes.
Color is grey. Homelink rearview mirror, window tint.

One of the few regrets I have is the Entune plus, speakers are not great.
I love the system itself, looking to add some rear speakers.
Mine was around the $33,000 range.
So, I would say the $37,000 you paid might be a bit on the high side.
You did get a couple of nicer things on yours, wheels, better stereo, lid, and hood protector.

All that to me is not worth the extra $4,000, but as long as you are happy that's all that matters.
I did go thru Costco to buy mine, that helped on the price.
Mine was a special order, there was nothing to be found in the Southeast when I contacted the dealer.

Stock speakers are pretty horrible. I had the door panels off adding sound deadening in the doors which helped, but those OEM speakers have tiny magnets and are just cheap.

I am upgrading the Entune now, leaving the OEM Head Unit and adding LOC, amp, and replacing both front and back speakers.

OP has the JBL system which should be a little better.

The JBL IS way better! I'm glad i got it! It really thumps, and sounds great with Country, Rock, electric, or hip-hop. Plus, my cab is neat and clean. I dont ever gotta mess with it again.

What do you use to keep it clean? How often do you wax it? What do you think about the clear coat they put on at the dealership?
