    just be sure and grab a good plug kit. regardless of what tires I have I always have plugs in the truck.

    first snow storm this year I got to work and came out a couple hours later to my truck leaning.

    Just got one yesterday actually. Im keeping it in my ibsp crate that has extinguisher, first aid and other things needed for the pass. Its always in my truck.

    I got a smitty built one from Amazon, think it was like 60 beans. A lot heavier than I expected, not a bad thing its solid. But have to rethink how Im going to mount it now

    to be honest with you I'm not 100% sure… but i've personally seen a hilift sink 6"-8'' before it even started lifting the truck… granted you can alway buy the larger base or keep some 2x wood planks with you….
    but on that note, the shorter ones are a bit less expensive….
    I had my mind set on the 48" but then i seen another member (jrzshore) fit a 60" just fine on his short bed so I went with the 60"

    I still dont carry it around because i dont have sliders yet… so I made some platforms out peasure treated 2x6 to be able to use my bottle jack…

    Mines 54", very happy with it overall. It fits perfectly under the back window in the bed with not to much room to spare. I too am not in a rush to carry it around until I install sliders, but am looking for a clean way to mount it.
