Good morning! I've been up since 4. Slept in today for once. Everyone's on the trip, I bet they are up and running around.

What trip? I was originally up at 530 because the cats were on my bed being annoying and wanting to be fed.

    Hello all, I bought a 07 SR5 4x4, almost a year ago.
The peeps out on the Slickrock trip inspired me to figure out out how to post a pic.

Was looking for a truck, wanted a Tacoma until I saw the $$.
Ford Rangers were more in the price range.
Then I remembered..... can't afford to be cheap.
So a Tacoma it is, but good grief. there's a lot of "choices".
1st gen, 2nd gen, 4 cyl, 6 cyl, auto, manual etc.
Along comes Tacomaworld......Yay. Figured it out from here.
    Here she is:

    Thanks TW.

That's clean. The roof rack is the same one that Alex has on his. Been debating getting one similar.

Welcome. That's pretty much how I got mine. Test drove an 04 and a 2007 at carmax. The 4.0 had way more power. Was close to getting a ranger or a Titan for way cheap.
Took me 6 months to find a used taco for a reasonable price. Access cabs are not as popular as the 4 doors. I think I made the right choice :)

    Those people were just dumb.

Meanwhile, a couple rowed from Africa to NY. I wanna say it took 140+ days. Crazy.

    Agreed, nice choice, nice truck.
I looked for about 3 months. Everything was 4 door, I wanted the access cab.
Even went all the way to Hayward, 3+ hours. Almost went Reno as well.
Got frustrated and looked at Nissans for a about a day. Nope.

    Thanks for the welcome all.
Sorry for reposting the pic, wanted to quote the text...meh, I'm a newbie.
