Interesting, look at my temps with Fusion/Kiwi for A/T 1 & 2 for a trip, the temps were in the 185-192f range.

This is a really cool feature (auto log). I'm really considering this whole set up as I do a lot of towing through the BC mountains.

How does the tire pressure option work? Can you see individual pressures from each sensor?

Is everything still working ok with the kiwi3? It really shows remaining fuel in the tank? Do you have to let the system know each time you fill up like the scangaugeII?

Torn between that and the LElink below. As long as it instantly pairs every time i’ll be happy.

    Thanks!

I have the Kiwi3 and the OBD Fusion app. It pairs instantly but I haven't been able to get it to read remaining fuel. Everything else about it is awesome.

Everything else works, and the trans temps are super handy to have up on the dashboard while I tow.

Hey, thanks to this thread, I got myself a Kiwi 3 and finally was able to set up the app to read my ATF temp. Now if I could only find time to change my transmission fluid.

Do these tran PIDS work for 2006 ? Has anyone tried it? I was recieving a reading negative number, I'm gonna try and re-insert the number see if I made a mistake along the way. Thanks

Thanks to everyone who pointed out the combination of Kiwi 3, ODB Fusion and in app purchase for Toyota/Tacoma. No hand entering of PID to get trans temp, at least for 2016. I've not tested remaining fuel or tire pressure but trans temps were easy. Customization of gauges is very well implemented; allowing you to, for example position the gauge label in a readable spot.

Here’s the formula for user defined tranny temp, works perfect on my 2010

Has anyone used this to monitor ATF temps while checking fluid level? How did it go? I am thinking of using this to check mine if it worked for you all.

Also would like to know if there is anyway to display this data within the OEM head unit, or do you have to swap it out? Thanks.

The prob is that there are different temp ranges for different trucks. My truck I know is 97-115 degrees but other trucks have ranges that start at 120 degrees. Best to do temp check mode then immediately flip over to the app to know where your temp range starts. Then you can just use the app next time.

I used the Kiwi and Fusion App to help change my trans fluid in December. Worked fine as far as I can tell. At the time I couldn't remember if I should use the Trans 1 or Trans 2 temp but they both stayed within 5 degrees of each other so I just waited until they both were within range.

As far as the Bluetooth question I haven't had any problems using Bluetooth to connect my iphone to the Tacoma at the same time connecting the Kiwi to my iphone Fusion app. Usually though I'm using the USB connection from the iphone to Tacoma.
