    Hey TacomaWorld,
I've been lurking on this forum for the past year and its been super helpful. I finally have a problem for which I have not found the answer here..... I had vultures attack my truck. It was parked near the everglades in South Florida for 8 hours yesterday and the birds tore the weather-seal rUbber strips covering the folding joints in my OEM Tonneau cover, as well as the rubberized weather-type stripping that sits under the windshield wipers.
The damage on the front end looks to be only cosmetic and easily hid. But, the damage on the tonneau cases it to leak water through all of the folds/joints....
Anybody know of a way to obtain/replace such strips? I tried calling a couple dealer parts departments and they're all closed due to COVID-19..

Anyway, any suggestions would be awesome!

Note to self, do not leave road-kill in the truck...:rofl:

I think you can buy them from Toyota, call a dealer and get the PN and order from olathe or another cheap parts dealer on the net.

I need help finding part number for tonneau cover seals as well. I Called the local dealer and they weren’t much help. I even tried looking at the parts diagram to get part numbers and couldn’t figure it out.

So, in my situation I ended up filing an insurance claim since I have comprehensive coverage. Talked for a while with my estimator, turns out the OEM toyota Tacoma Tonneau DOES NOT have replacement parts beside buying one of the 3 individual sections. He put it on my estimate to replace the entire tonneau. Which is a bummer considering how most aftermarket tonneaus would likely be able to send you parts or help with a fix.... But, my insurance covered all the damages to paint, drip rail, sunroof weather seal, and the tonneau.

The weatherstrip seals are sold separately. Part numbers are as follow. 64971-04011 (2) and 64972-04011.

Yeah you're supposed to bury the dead hookers, not drive around with them in the back.

Pretty crazy though, never heard of vultures attacking rubber.
