And those guys running without bolts are not smart.

I work in aviation, cant compare an airplane to a truck, car products are usually more advanced LOL!! Hell GE says to use milk of magnesia for an antiseize inside their engines on some parts.

Looks like you have the leak figured out then keep gooping away, make sure you follow the boeing Airbus McDonnell Douglas procedure for smearing RTV on the outside of a joint.

Jeeze, you MC guys and your leaks, I will report back but am not expecting any leaks from the Atlas.

Speaking of which, getting closer, crossmember and tranny mount/subframe are complete, I will be working on case support next.

Makes sense if they were made in China or somewhere in the far east. I work for a shipping company and we are just starting to see volumes start to pick back up to normal on import/export going that way.

Hey TW members, new to this thread but I keep having issues with my setup. Long story short my output and input splines keep stripping on me, everyone under a different situation (travelling, around my block, hwy and climbing a rock wall). 2007 doublecab tacoma with fj twin stick case built by rocksolidtoys.

Has anybody ran into this issue as well? Does this look like sufficient spline engagement? At the moment I am thinking its spline engagement or lack of lubrication.

For more detailed information, I created this post.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/crawler-box-splines-keep-stripping.638372/

Marlin's reasoning is the coupler on the transmission side is too long and its preloading the gearbox causing the damage.

Just got the case rebuilt by marlin and I am about to throw it back on the truck, if anybody could share some insight would be helpful.

    Thanks

    Fed

Are you using a coupler supplied by Marlin on the transmission side?

I would think that your spline engagement is about the same as everyone else on here running a marlin.
