I raised 2 kids of my own and 2 "step kids" (I HATE that term) I'll be the very first to tell anyone, blood relations isn't all there is to being a father....It's not easy being a step parent, but let me tell ya this much. The kids know who raised 'em. They know who teaches them right from wrong, and they damn sure know who loves 'em when it wasn't something you just HAD to do. The paragraph you just posted tells me everything I ever need to know about you.

I grew up with out my dad in my life past 7 years old. I then had a really shitty step dad for numerous years who hated me for numerous years. I then got a step dad who is a fantastic person and a fantastic father figure. I know what it feels like to be terrified of my "parent" and sit in my room by myself starring out the window crying, praying that my mom would come home and give me a hug and comfort me and tell me she loved me when I knew instead i would just be even more scared listening to the screaming through the door wondering what would happen next. I didn't have that person to show me what a real father looks like. But I had something that I feel has worked out for me even better, someone to show me what a real father DOESN'T look like. I will never be that person to Lucas or any other child that is accidentally or purposely brought into my life. When it comes to being a good dad, my ego to not fail is what drives me. I always used to tell myself I would be the best dad I could possibly be but it's hard to actually believe those words until you are presented with the situation to prove it to yourself. Everyday gives me that opportunity and ill be damned if I'm gonna waste it.

Anyone ever had to replace their front wheel bearings? Should I go OEM or is there a better aftermarket option?

I've heard just replace the entire hub. A lot easier but I could be mistaken

I remember somebody at lbl having trouble with a hub assembly they had got from someone on here but I could not think who it was. I posted both and I figured you would chime in and and give us some of that Gid knowledge. :anonymous:

Congratulations to all three of you. I've never done a better thing in my life than marrying my wife, and I should probably tell her that more often. I'd be happy to give pointers on big wedding stuff. Ours was three days with 200 people.

Also, this is where I'm posting from because it's the only place I have service. About a half mile from my tent.
