I'm not positive, but headstrong offroad may be the cheapest. They have been the cheapest on everything I've ordered. They even refunded me $30 after I ordered all 4 OME shocks. Shipping was less than I was charged. Best customer service I've experienced. You may have to call or email them. They don't have everthing online.

I'm on the verge of purchasing the OME 3" complete lift (shocks, strut pre-assembled, dakr leaf pack, etc) with LR UCA's. On average, what should something like this cost to install? I keep getting $600-$650 around town at regular mechanic shops...is this high?

    Thanks for the help.

Well I was quoted around that range and even $750 at the STEALERSHIPS.
I had a local off road shop that said they would do it all and alignment for $350 (which is a good deal compared to my other quotes)

however I had a guy on here that actually offered to help that I have never met. Needless to say we did it together, I gained a lot of knowledge on how the suspension goes together (in case something breaks) and I also have a new friend that we get to talk about our trucks and lend a hand to each other every now and then. (sorry for the story I got carried away)

Thanks slcsez2000...Yeah, a lot of people seem to putting it on themselves with ease...I'm afraid my truck would operate after I got cranking on it. The $300-$350 range is what I would expect...but what do I know. $600-$650 is keeping me away from the purchase though. Sucks!

    Anyone else have cost?

This is what I have so far. Did I miss anything? I believe I still need extended brake lines and a carrier bearing drop kit, but did I mess anything else? I've read some rear brake lines are longer than others. These from headstrong are 2" longer than OEM? Will they work with my Dakars being that dakars are 2.75" of lift? http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/all-other-product-tacoma-05-6-lug.html

Am I missing anything that I would regret not installing later.

Lift has nothing to do with the length of the brake lines needed, the length needed is dependent on the extended length of the shocks and the available droop of the leaf packs.

With the OME rear shocks the packs will not droop out far enough to require longer brake lines, but some people still get them to be safe.

I would also suggest a 3 degree (maybe larger?) axle shim. It depends on how much the drive shaft to rear diff angle changes with the Dakars.

I removed the sway bar so the " Icon Sway Bar Relocation Bracket " is not necessary. If you do decide you want the sway bar you can always put it back later, that part is an easy install.

Also verify those u-bolts will be long enough with the taller springs. I would double check with whoever you purchase the kit through.

The ubolts he has listed are the ones that come with the kit, why wouldn't they work

That makes sense, I just didn't really think about it I guess. I may hold off on that and save a little money.

    Thanks

I'm happy with it and it was worth it. I'm already eying some tires to fill that wheel well. I was planning to wait till the stockers wore down but they're still practically new. It's handling speed bumps like a champ.
I did the carrier bearing drop, but there is a slight vibe at 25. Are both shafts supposed to be in line with each other? I'm thinking about putting in axel shims, but I just need to figure out how many degrees I need.
