installed an OME lift complete struts with spacer up front and full leafs in the rear , the ride is kinda rough but the biggest thing bothering me is how violent bumps in the road feel in the steering wheel. If anyone has had this problem and fixed it or knows anything about please help. It's on a 15 double cab with 33" tires. Thanks

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
yeah you might have gone with too stiff of coils, do you have any weight in the front? ex. winch bumper sliders..

You may need to increase your caster to 2.5-3.0 to fix what is commonly called 'bump steer'.

It's not the suspension, it's the caster. You should find a better alignment shop. With stock UCA's you should still be able to get greater than 0.5 degrees of caster.

Tell the alignment shop that you want 0 Toe, 0 Camber, and to max out the caster.

Hey at least it looks great. Those don't look like OME shocks though (for your full OME kit). Billies? Fronts set at zero?

The backs are toytec boss shocks because at the time the OME shocks did not fit the 15' mounts. And idk what you mean by fronts set at zero?

My front struts aren't adjustable unless there's something hidden in there.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
You are correct, they are not. You mentioned spacers up front, i assume you mean OME trim packers and not half inch aluminum spacers up front as well. This is not bump steer and you should get your alignment rechecked for the play in the steering wheel. However, they are linear rate springs and not progressive like your stock coils. 885 are a proper setup for your ride, but they are not plush and there will be some "breaking in." 3k in suspension and tires wont get you a baja style ride so you are getting as advertised. I would recommend selling/swapping for ICON or KINGS if you want that progressive coil feel back on a much nicer custom valved ride. These two struts are digressive and progressive valving respectively to provide softer dampening and stiffer dampening, respectively at speed. The coil only supports the weight and also adding some skid plates or extra weight up front would help as well.

Truck looks awesome! I love the white with black wheels. Looks really good. I hope you work out your ride issues.

I agree, ride matters. It's been 6 months I've been waiting for my new frame. I bought the OMU suspension lift from Toytec. 885 coils, aal with spacer up front. They are installing on their dime. Can't wait to get it back. They are saying this month.

Save your money. You'll have a harsh ride with any coil over with extremely low caster. I ran the OME setup for three years and it did just fine. The issue you do have is stock upper control arms that don't allow enough caster. If you're going to spend any more money buy a set of Light Racing upper control arms. That will allow you to have 2.5 degrees of caster. The truck will drive straight and true and the harshness will go away.
