Put some nice Billstein shocks on it with a nice wheel/tire combo.

I have never heard it put this way. Do you mean install a lift or lower the truck? If so then do the third choice. Leave it alone. No lift and mo lower. Leave it stock.

5 lug tacomas are better left alone. Don't make it something it's not. It's not a prerunner or an x-runner. Too much costs just to look like a stock prerunner.

I'm with the leave it as is. The 5 lug does a wonderful job of what it was designed for as is.
Leave it or buy a 4X4 or PreRunner if that is what you want.

I believe in mod what you got. That's why tuner hondas exist. Whatever you do, choose a path, make a list, and do it right from the start. If you take your time and plan carefully you'll save a lot in the long run.

Lift it. Stock trucks are boring.

The only thing i have done to the truck has been to add the bed cover lights in the bed, added fog lights, tints and an A/V head unit with a tuner so i can see any local HD broadcasts.

That was a HUUUGE thing back in the 80s. Mini trucks, Toyota dodge D50, Mitsubishi, Mazda B2000, were lowered. They looked awesome. I wish that trend would return.

Yeah you don’t have to slam it like that. Just a bit lower, a sweet paint job.
