overhead temp/compass

The light is out. How or what is the best way to repair this?

 

It seems like this is a very common problem on Tacomas. In fact, mine is out right now! haha. I was told there is some soldering involved in fixing it and that's pretty much when I was like nevermind.

 

its an easy fix....ive fixed about 8 already. one of the resistors solder comes undone and all you have to do is re-solder it back one

Look up username-jerez here on Tacomaworld. He fixes them for 10 bucks. He does great work

I was able to take the overhead console off today thanks to the great posts on TWF. It was pretty easy and I got the unit off ok the only trouble was the little plastic clips on the smoked cover. The little resister or what ever was easy to spot and I just soldered it back down. Thanks to all thein put the posts on the site.
