    Interior Lights
    Ditch Lights
    LED Light Bar

If using a different brand of light bar with CaliRaised brackets, I found that you needed to do some simple engineering to get the light to fit the CaliRaised brackets. At least with the AuxBeam I used.

I needed two Reducing Automotive studs

    Size: M6 > M8

M8 being the side that fits the light and M6 that fits through the brackets. The brackets don't have just a single hole drilled it’s a 4" long slot.

I got my studs at Ace Hardware. They come in two lengths 23mm and 31mm. I used the 23mm length.

You will also need an M6 and M8 nut. I used a regular stainless nut, so it wouldn’t rust, but I might recommend a lock nut just to be safe. So far though I have had no issues.

You may even want to apply some heavy-duty lock tight to the end of the stud that goes into the light. I used pliers to screw the stud into the light firmly. The rest of the install process can be seen HERE

Hey!! Whats up brother. Sorry for the delay. Those Hikari Cree bulbs are just fine and plenty bright especially since I don't drive with my Highs on to often. With that said, I'd just go with the new Hikari Phillips bulbs. I just bought another set to replace the AuxBeam's in the fogs. Not that there is anything wrong with the AuxBeam. The Hikari Phillips are just kick ass.

Dude I see that you're from Newport News Virginia. My Fiance is from there. she moved to Texas about 7 or 8 years ago. Are you originally from there?

Rear Bumper LED Wiring Write Up

Alright so I am going to do my best to try and explain how I wired up my reverse pods.

First and foremost, here are the items I used to get the job done.

    · [IMG]$46 MicTuning Flush Mount Led Pods, 2Pcs 40W Flood CREE Led Work Light Bar, Off Road Backup Driving Lights Fog Lamp for Jeep Bumper ATV UTV SUV Truck BoatThe Lights

    · [IMG]$20 CH4x4 Push Switch for Toyota Tacoma - Rear Lights Symbol - Blue LedFancy Toyota Push Switch

    · [IMG]$20 14 AWG 20 ft OZ-USA 2 Wire 12v 24v cable car truck marine boat light led bar electrical wiring industrial20’ Electrical marine grade wire/cable

    · [IMG]$8 MUYI 5 Kit 2 Pin Way 16 AWG Waterproof Connector Wire 1.5mm Series Terminal Connector BlackWaterproof electrical connections

    · [IMG]$16 Auxbeam LED Light Bar Rocker Switch with 3Pcs Switching lines Wiring Loom Harness Kit with Fuse and RelaySingle LEAD wiring harness

    · [IMG]$15 Auxbeam LED Work Light Rocker Switch with 3Pcs Switching Lines Wiring Loom Harness Kit with Fuse and RelayDouble LEAD wiring harness

So first I took my single lead wiring harness, sniped the blade connector off of the light fixture connection end and soldered my waterproof connection in its place (female end)…

Then hooked up the wire harness as normal, connecting to the battery, mounted the relay in a neat spot, then passed the switch end through the firewall and connecting my “Fancy” Toyota push switch.

Here is a photo of my switch panel.

I then ran the light fixture end with the waterproof connector down out of the engine bay and as far as I could down the driver side of the truck following the factory wiring for reference. I landed just past the driver side door. I then buttoned up the connection there for the time being.

Next, I took my wire/cable and soldered a waterproof connector to one end using the male connection this time to LATER connect to that female connection I already ran previously. I then measured how much of the 20’ of wire/cable I was going to need and cut accordingly.

Then I took the double lead harness and cut the wiring at the relay so that I only had the wiring with the dual leads and not the rest of the harness. I snipped the blade connectors off of the leads and then soldered the female waterproof connectors on. After this, I then took the double lead wiring with the new connections and soldered that to the other end of the Wire/Cable.

So now to recap… at this point, I have a section of wiring with a male waterproof connector at one end while on the other end I have two leads for two lights with female waterproof connections.

So now I add some dielectric grease to the waterproof connections for extra proofing and longevity. Then connect the new section of wiring to the wiring a ran previously just past the driver side door. Followed the factory wiring all the way to the end of the truck and buttoned up the two lead connections to the right and left side of the rear bumper.

Now I take my two lights and solder male waterproof connections to those lights and mount them to the bumper and connect them to the two leads I left behind the bumper. At this point, you go to the cab, hit the switch, and voila there is light lol

Yea, again very impressed and so inspiring. If I wasn't such a lazy F@ck I'd do something like this. Instead I'm gonna go make another frozen margarita and just wait for you to add to this thread. :burp:

    Lmao

You guys are halarious! Go ahead laugh it up. Laugh at my addiction

Honestly I have fun doing it, but I’m about at the end of my minor cosmetic mods. Next it will just be 1 major mod each year

Maybe next year I’ll finally install my lift, wheels, and tires.

Btw that light mod I did yesterday involves switch back. The way I hooked it all up was a first that even the manufacturer wasn’t sure if it would work. Imagine my excitement when it worked just as I thought :bananadance:
