Probably a bit early, we run similar parts in groups, yours was the last one ordered in the recent groups so your lead time is better.

What do you recommend we clean the bumper (bare) with when we get it Tyler? Light sand and self-etching primer enough?

Is there a tow rating with these bumpers I have a pop up camper and a 17ft bass boat that I pull

Tyler is in MOAB right now and given the cell service up there it might be a while before he responds. I know many people have towed with these with no problems (me included), but I don't think they are officially "rated". I would personally say that these things can easily handle more than stock though.

With that I think I'll be hopefully buying one of these bumpers in the next few days do you know what people are putting on their fenders to prevent rust from starting where they cut the fenders

Not sure what everyone else did, but I just masked everything and rattle canned it. Then got some rubber edging and siliconed it on. Just make sure to use the neutral curing or automotive silicone, cause everything else supposedly causes rust. Never seen it happen but when the other stuff cures it releases acid which speeds up oxidation.

I have pulled at least 10 different boats with this bumper installed. Some of them weighing over the trucks rating. Heaviest one coming in near 8000 lbs on the trailer. (I am the service manager at a tige dealer) Absolutely no problems with the bumper towing. I am having to run a 10 in drop to get level for most hauls. I have also used this beast of a bumper to rip a 2500 dually dodge out of a snow bank. Took 5 or 6 yanks with a 5 ft run up. No problems there either. Absolutely love the swing gate as well. I have several buddies with latch systems on their swing outs and none are as easy to use, beefy, or reliable as mine. Tyler builds one bad ass bumper. Still get constantly hounded in parking lots about it. Any how. Moral Of he story is buy one!!

Hell I was eating out yesterday and someone backed into my truck. Sitting at the table inside I saw it rock my truck. Then the damn car just peels out and takes off. My gf started freaking out. I started laughing cause I knew they just worked the bumper of that outback and I would have a new paint scuff to deal with lol. Walked out to find not a damn thing wrong. Oh and go ahead and open your door into my truck if you park next to it. Nothing but steel, Muah hahaha

Good parking lot protectors what would happen tho if someone slammed into it and messed the bumper up would your insurance company cover the damaged aftermarket

Tyler got it shipped out right at his estimated lead time of 12 weeks, then it took Fastenal about 3 1/2 weeks to get it to me.

^^^ Looks awesome man! I guess I'm gonna have to break down and get one of these next. They are sweet! I just don't think I can do the swing out due to clearance in my garage. I'll be damned if my Taco will be an outside parked truck if I can help it.
