Is there a straight side profile picture? I heard the pelfrey bumper has a overhanging lip, that could get hung up?

Where the license plate hangs down, at the very back of the bumper. This is what I was told. I'd like to put this myth to bed because I like this bumper :D

Great "underside" photos Tyler. Really sturdy without wastfull weight, just what I like. I see how you ended your exhaust pipe and will do similar on mine. The mud on your bumper proves you really use your truck too! We had a nice wheeling trip in the White Mountains (NorthEastern AZ) a couple weeks ago, picked up some "pinstriping" and lots of mud. I spent a couple hours to get most of the mud off of my Tacoma, but it aint new anymore!

I keep sneaking peeks at this thread and the PB general thread to keep me sane until my own HC bumper arrives...

And yeah, I like your license plate..

Is it completely level with the sides? Nothing hanging down below the level of the sides?

The sides are slightly higher than the center in the rear, it tapers slightly lower to allow for license plate to fit. Nothing hangs down anywhere.

That's what I'm curious of. How much lower does it sit?

It is a few inches lower on center. The important part is that the sides taper up as high as possible, that's where most clearance is needed. I have never had issues hanging up on center. I'm sure it can be done in extreme circumstances however.
I considered a higher more straight across center area but it does not allow for the license plate and factory lights. Those would have to be moved onto swing out.
I guess you give up a little center clearance in exchange for aesthetics so it's just a matter of what's most important for your needs.
I'd be stoked to put a bumper on your rig but if a higher center more basic rectangular tube style fits you better then by all means, get what makes you happy. I appreciate the opportunity.
