    Hey Guys,
    Heres my current build:
    -2011 Black Tacoma double-cab prerunner off-road model
    -Bilstein 5100's front and back
    -Toytec eibach coilovers
    -1 inch rear block
    -1.5 inch wheel spacers
-16' Black Procomp alloy wheels with .5 offset and 4in of backspacing
    -285/75/16 General Grabber's
Ever since the lift I have had two problems
    1. Ive been having problems with my VSC ever since the lift and I'm gonna solve it by doing the abs kill switch with Croms way:https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/abs-kill-switch-mod-for-05-offroad-easy-way-pics.170927/ that should solve the problem

    2. My tires rub barely on the fender either when I'm in reverse and crank the wheel with people in truck or when I'm off-roading and I hit a bump with steering wheel cranked. Ive already trimmed the inside fender as much as it should be. My question is that its lifted 2.5 in the front and 1 in the back, how much more should I lift it to not rub or what can i do? (The front shocks are set at .85 with coil over adding 1.6)
If I can get this out of the way, I can do all my other mods I want to do! :)

I'm not a lift expert by any means so others may have more to add for you. That said as far as the VSC it would be worth also doing a zero point recalibration. Check this thread out, post 2 has a link to the procedure. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/recalibrating-vsc-why-how.92474/

Have you had an alignment after the lift? With 285s on 2.5" lift some trimming is to be expected. A good alignment with healthy caster (2.5 -3) will help move the tires forward a little assuming you are rubbing at the back? You may also need to do a CMC which is a cab mount chop if the tires are rubbing on your cab mount. If you aren't rubbing on the cab mount and don't really off road your truck then it may not be needed.

    Welcome to TW

maybe try doing away with the 1.5 spacer. im running the same wheels on my ride with 265/75/r16 tire and no lift. Had to do some minor trimming but now no rubbing. i had originally tired to run 1.25 spacers but i had serious rubbing on the cab mount

Thank you for the welcome, tacoma world is so helpful! Well I got the wheels aligned and a point zero calibration and it helped a little but not much. I did get 4 wheel parts to to a Cab mount cut too!:( I wonder if I got it too stop rubbing in the back and more towards the front so i could get a whole new front bumber/grill guard to clear it. But i think in the end i either have to down size tire or lift it a little bit more since i have the bilstein adjustables. Im just trying to get the easiest/cheapest way to make it to not rub at all.

Interesting, 4 wheel parts stuck the wheel spacers on to keep it from rubbing they said, but it may be worth a shot. Thanks

They told me it would the rim would rub on the brake calipers without spacers so that is why i tired them. It clears without them, just barely though. Hope you can get it to work out

Its only rubbing on the front mostly, but I think if I get the caster moved foward and a new front bumper/ grill guard it would not rub. What do you guys think? I think this could work because i dont wanna lift it more cause my mileage would go down hill haha.
