I would like to remove the plastic bin from behind the drivers seat. I removed the 3 screws but could not get ot loose. Any Idea what I missed?

There are snap pins that snap in and out behind the covers,
Just pull really hard and it will come out.
Also check for more screws, I think there was 4, not sure.

Along the top and sides there are pins. Take the driver's side bin out first, then the passenger side. There is also a small slot on the bottom that means you need to slide the whole passenger side bin towards the driver side.

There was a thread not too long ago about securing a rifle behind the seats. If there was a way to securely mount an M4 behind the back seat, I would be all over it.

This showed up last week so I'm hoping to find the time to bust loose some spot welds this week.

I'm going to have to pull the rear seats to get the lower set (in yellow). I'm also going to start with the upper set (in green) because there is more room for error as they are not directly on an outside wall. If I accidentally screw through the base metal it's not putting a hole through to the outside world!. The lower ones are the ones I really want gone though as they snag on stuff and take up more room in the more useful area at the bottom.

Sounds like you're set on the spot weld remover for the LATCH hooks, but just wanted to let you know that I removed one of those hooks, for my amp board, by Dremel'ing the welds, then removing the hook with a set vice grips.

I'm not sure if that method will work with the lower tabs (yellow) or not. What Dremel attachment did you use?

I don't see too many options for the lower tabs besides the spot weld cutter, which is why I bought it. Figure I'll practice on the 6 spot welds for the child seat restraints and then get busy with the lower tabs after I'm a professional.

Agree on the lower tabs, just a data point for you though. I used a metal cut-off wheel on the Dremel and just angled it on the weld between the hook and the weld. Still needs some grinding to level the weld if you want, but for my uses, it did what I needed it to.

I initially tried a hammer and chisel on the spot welds thinking that they might be a bit weaker, but that didn't work worth a crap. Only other method that I could think of at the time was an air chisel, but that seemed quite the overkill.
