    One is supposed to be in the inner and one is the outer.
    You will be able to tell when you take the old ones apart. I don't remember which one goes where I did mine too long ago.

    Figured it out.

    The brown grease goes in the inner boot. The black grease goes in the outer boot.

    wow just nine ounces? so i guess you pack the grease into the joint knuckle itself

    Nope... But I definitely would.

    Just wipe as much grease out as possible, then soak it in brake/parts cleaner until it's all shiny. At least that's my plan :notsure:

    I think I'm just going to go with two of the OEM kits and do the boot slide mod.

    I could have sworn I saw a really good how-to post with good pics on how to re-boot our cv's and do they boot slide mod. But now I can't find it... :(
