Hello all you 1st geners. I passed down my '03 ac to my son. Great truck but rear bumper is rusting off. I searched but had no luck finding advice on this forum. Does anyone have experience with this bumper or any recommendations on a different OEM look alike black bumper. Thanks.

I don't think you searched very well. Just last week (or maybe the last 2 weeks) there were several posts about rear bumpers, their cost, where to buy... all on this forum.

    Pretty much stock right now
I have had an ebay front and rear bumper for about 4 years. I knew it was junk when I bought it, but it looks better than the rusted out OEM chrome bumper. I expected to get a few years out of it, but it is actually not too bad right now. I used spray-on undercoating on the insides before I put them on, and I think it helped. But, the paint is starting to bubble up on the rear bumper. You get what you pay for, but for the price, I'm not disappointed.

Rockauto has replacement bumpers. More expensive than that ebay one though.

I have one of those. It's held up pretty well for a few years now. I would suggest rattle painting it before installing it as the finish on it will fade quickly. Mine is super dull now and my truck is garage kept. I'll probably paint it once it warms up a bit.
