This is how I did my heated seat install. Rewired the harness to make them heavier gauge and perfect length. Brought them to a fuse box under the hood and fused the fuse box also. MESO center console panel used. It’s definitely worth the wait for the Meso panel

It was a simple install, didn't have to cut anything. Make sure you remove seats from truck prior to installing.

I installed the heated seat pads to the seats by pealing the backing off and applying it directly to the top of the seat. I then put leather Clazzio seat covers. The covers look OEM and work perfect. No cutting to the heat pads, perfect fit. I had a friend who owns a stereo store and he wired them in about an hour. Went perfect! I used my stock center dash cluster and moved the switches around so my heat switches were on the ends.very easy.

What fuse did you end up tapping? I was going to go with one on the interior fuse box and just leave it with the cover off

I just did this as well. Moved ECT button to panel at the left of the wheel. Then moved the USB and AUX to the far left location in the panel at the center lower dash and put the heated seat switches in the center. Also positioned the relays in an AUX relay panel. Was a bit of work but was rewarding.

Here's a link to POST # 15 of my build thread with details on the heated seat install: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/motofish84s-3rd-gen-sr-build.633960/#post-21930871

    Awesome, thanks for sharing.

I think I'm just gonna go with the kit that has one switch with 2 knobs on it (referenced earlier in this thread). Should work fine. If I feel up for it, I still may move my USB aux to the center console using the extender I linked to in my OP.

Any chance you have a pic of the switch installed in your truck? Thanks...

This is how I wired mine using the less expensive Hi/Lo round plug. I am going to put a switch in the open hole to disconnect the seat heater so I can have only back heat for long road trips etc.

1 gang PVC box with 3/4 knockouts from home depot. Used seat mounting bolt - Simple and easy mount with no dash mods required and easy for driver to reach both driver seat heater and passenger side as well.

Huh...interesting. Mines all done, I used spots in the lower dash switch panel. Moved my USB/aux into the center console.
I wouldn't like my switches there... They would get all dirty and muddy, and if hit them with my feet. But to each their own...
