My flush mount sr-q backup kit should be here tomorrow. Excited to get them put in. I need to figure out how to wire them to a switch in the cab and to the backup light power so they come on every time with the factory lights but I can also turn them on with a switch. Any ideas?? Going to use a OTRATTW switch inside.

I know I can get power from the trailer lighting plug or backup light wires for the sr-qs to come on with the backup lights. Just need to know how to also wire it to a switch and what switch I need.

    Any ideas?

after getting my backup kit the rigid harness is extremely easy to follow... my previous question now seems very dumb haha. im going to try to use a OTRATTW SPDT on/off/on switch with separate indicator lights.. that way i can have it in the 'on when in reverse' position all the time without the switch indicator light being on... and the switch indicator light will still illuminate when the rigid backup lights are on without the factory back up's.

will use this switch to match the switch for my LED light bar.

with the V6D2UHCB rocker switch on/off/on red/green indicator LEDs

install to the right of this OTRATTW switch. Hopefully this works as planned haha.

Got my flush mount sr-q's put in today. The wiring was extremely easy and the lights are incredible. At least 1000x brighter then factory backup lights.

    Rigid only

Not the best spot to show how bright they are but trust me they are BRIGHT

Thanks for the write up OP. For sure pushed me over the edge to order the kit.
