So it's that kind of party, huh?
For real though, you guys got straps? I have a rope and I may be able to bring a tow strap but not likely. Also I do not know the proper anchor points.
Hey thanks, I'll read those when I get home (pics)
Okay, leaning more towards coming now...
*Looks at signature* Nope. Not going.

Lol I was kidding. Only a drunk would get THAT stuck... Just kidding, I'll probably eat those words at the meet. I'll come.

What are the possibilities of damage to the truck/suspension/etc?

Too poor to list anything interesting.

You'll get sand everywhere. Just stay out of the salt water and hose that shit off when you get home. Also check your air filter under the hood.

Good thing I have weathertechs and TRD covers. Will we be in a lot of water or just the sand? And as for the air filter, I was about to change my air filter... Should I hold off? Or can I put it in (I am doing a full tune up soon and want to do it all at once) and then swap my old dirty one back in for the meet?

You'll get some sand in your leaf springs. So if you hear squeaks coming from the rear, don't panic.

Driving though water is all on you. You don't have to drive through water out there.

Your call about the filter. Personally, I'd hold out.

As far as humans go, we might stand in some water. Trucks, no water.
suspension will be fine, you're not doing anything beside driving. Like like driving on a dirt road. Minus the dirt

I squeak like crazy already! I guess it's the add-a-leaf. I need to put rubber pads in between them. Can you just hose the sand out?

Lmao you're like bender from Futurama

You can try to. The squeak goes away when the springs are wet lol at least mine do. Then when it's dry the squeak comes back

Put in the rubber pads with a little grease on them. I did it to mine, and have been out in the sand and mud a few times and had no issues with squeaks.

Lmao your leafs squeak like no other!

What pads did you use? Man I don't even have bumpstops yet

True that! What all do I need to bring? I'm assuming just straps, does anybody have an air compressor? I'm not driving 2 hours on aired down tires lol

If my truck didn't squeak, I would think there is something wrong with it lol

don't worry about straps, don't air down, just bring yourself food. And beverage. Maybe a chair?

You don't need to worry about an air compressor. I go down there all the time running 35 psi in my tires and i don't even use 4wd when driving up to the beach. If you do need to air up there is a gas station half way up the island.
