Stopped by Radio Shack, my hunch was correct-- they still suck.
Don't even carry CB microphone mounts -_-

haha yeah mine doesn't have shit for CB stuff. Go to a West Marine if you have one nearby. They have the basic ones that the mics clip into. It'll be for a VHF radio, but it's the same thing.

I'll give em a shout. I got a lead for one at an RV store about a mile down the road so I'll give them a ring next. If all else fails then I'll hit up West Marine in Seattle

Next time you need leafs DO IT! For me I was switching from stock leafs so it was between Expos or Dakaar pack & AAL. Pretty easy choice.

The expose are great, (relatively) easy install and ride not nearly as bad with an empty bed as everyone says. No complaints here except for the shipping/time it took to get them, but they made up for it w/ free shipping :)

I need leafs already... Haha I've flexed out my stock leafs with an add-a-leaf too much to where they're starting to sag again.

I was planning on getting expos for when I get a rooftop tent, but the ride quality when empty was what worried me. Now that you say that it's not nearly as bad as many say I feel a bit better about them haha

    Thanks Woody!
Yeah not nearly as bad as I remember it being when it I bought/drove it stock last year

Oh it's about that time then. Yeah they aren't nearly as bad as everyone is talking about. I was pleasantly surprised and damn near shitting bricks when ordering/on my first test drive after installation but I soon forgot all about that. If you were closer I'd definitely say lets meet up and you can take it for a spin but NM is a loooong ways away

Loaded the back up with wood, Expos didn't even think about budging

Before going to pick up the wood:

Frankly, I got pretty sick of the motorcycle horn that Toyota put in these trucks

My Dad helped/basically did this mod to my truck when I first got it last spring/summer

Glad you got the right color! Sorry I couldn't be more help... Haha

Seeing your taillights has seriously got me tempted to tint mine... I'm scared it won't come out the way I want it though. But yours looks very nice. How many coats of paint and clear did you do?

    Rear Window Aluminum Locks

Even though I have a canopy on, which makes my truck a lot harder to break into via the rear window.. I wanted to make something that would make it dang near impossible for someone to pry the back window open and steal all my goodies :p

This is what you'll need (one unfinished lock [top bare aluminum] one finished lock [bottom black]:
    IMG_2583_zps23ea798e_4f0983eca529c1430ab01e58f7df37e0bc487aa4.jpg

Wrap the cut aluminum to 14-15" and wrap in thin bubble wrap & then wrap in duct tape:
    IMG_2584_zpsb7a5da97_4de39fffdeef5d3c82e574536e6aca3d2f9b1127.jpg

After that, wrap in black electrical tape so it blends in:
    IMG_2585_zpsff19c700_1e6ece0fd2c3088e1e82caaddfa85d965e0ced1b.jpg

    Passenger side in:

    IMG_2587_zpsd0e9a95d_b87ad2a00af96f862f8fcbd82b4b27d312b6c531.jpg

I would be impressed if someone could get the window open with those lock bars in place & the gun rack there:

I made one shorter than the other so in a really shitty situation (me locked out), if I ever needed, I could pry the rear window open a little and have access to the cab for whatever reason.

Looks tits man! Love black trucks with tinted tails.

Be careful up north (Edmonds). I got a fat ticket ($250) up there in my last truck that had tinted tails.
