on my 2009 Tacoma , lately when I stop, shift into reverse...when I start moving I hear a loud metal sound as I step on/off the brake......thoughts on what this could be ? Please be kind , hopefully not a big problem & I thought I would ask here before asking the stealership

I have that when I don't take the extra time to shift firmly and make sure it locks into gear.

From what I understand it's just the brake shoes/pads re-seating. Mine did it for awhile when backing out of the driveway but doesn't do it anymore.
