Ah man, sorry to hear! well Its weird but many people i contacted that purchased theirs haven't installed either lol. Sorry to hear about your garage! and yes the Shok deadener should still be ok. The only hard part could be the wax paper type paper that you have to peel

 

well it will at least reduce the cabin noise
