I've had my 2013 Tacoma about a month. I've noticed that when I have the headlights on, of course the dashboard lights up accordingly, but the 4WD switch (in lower left of this photo) does not light up. Is that normal? Or do I have a burnt out bulb?

    Normal. It doesn't light up.

If you want it to, I believe you can use one from a 4runner

Thanks for the quick responses. Good to know that I don't already have a burnt out dashboard bulb on my new-to-me truck. But yeah, it would be cool if it lit up. I've used it a number of times already (snowy winter roads in Wisconsin) at night, though it's not like it's hard to find.

I'll poke around and see what's available.

The 4x4 switch is different on the 12+ tacomas.

If you have any questions let me know. I've added the 4runner switch and hilux switch to mine. I've also helped plenty of other members with theirs. Pretty simple process!

Here's some pictures of the hilux switch. It obviously goes better with the black panel swap!

The LEDs in the hilux switch can be swapped to just about any color also. I switched mine to white recently.

I've done the 4runner AND hilux switch. Hilux is by far the cleanest looking.
