I need to do this...just been so busy! also building a roof top tent from scratch... I have 2 more weeks to build then taking a 2 week road trip. After that, I'd say within 1-2 months till I get around to updating my info. I do have a snorkel install thread if you are interested...

Yeah I've been looking around online and I've seen a few options. It's just a matter of finding exactly what I'd like.

That looks great. Got any shots of where it mounts to the truck roof?

Yep. You'll see that I put some urethane sealant that I had left over from my snorkel inStall. It's the windshield black sealant.
I have not had a chance to trim the weatherstripping and reinstall yet.

    And to the shell:

This is how I made the mount:

Looks like you did 3 mounts for cab rack. Did you rivnuts for the center mount?

I just put the one bolt on the center mount..no rivnut.and I left the other side of the mount blank. I considered putting a key between the top and bottom of them out but then I decided I would install it without and see if I had issues with the bottom turning. So far no issues... you guys are going to embarrass me with my aluminum welding skills or lack there of... this is my first project for welding aluminum and there was a bit of a learning curve .

Thanks for the info. I struggled with aluminum for a while before I got it. It's a bitch, so many little tricks to learn. My current love/hate is all thing TIG related.
