i hope this is the right forum for this.

heater/vent fan squeaks in LOW ONLY. one click up and the problem goes away.

sounds like a cricket or birdie is in there. is this common, will it be warranty, or am i S.O.L.?

has anyone replaced the fan motor with the same result?

my truck is less than 1 year old.

this thread seems similar, but i am not sure if his problem was a/c only:

Yes it's a common problem and should be covered under warranty. I'm going to take mine in soon for the same problem.

I had my first one changed at 8000km. and now the second one is starting to squeak at 16000km. I guess it should be replaced every other oil change ;) It is covered by warranty
