Not sure if this has already been discussed even though i tried to find other posts already.

Does anyone else have reception problems with thier stock radio? (JBL, if that makes a difference)

I have lived in San Diego all my life and i have owned many other vehicles and ridden in countless others all throughout this city and i have never experienced such bad radio reception than i have in my tacoma.

I was just wondering if this was a known issue with the stock radio or if it was just me.

Wow, two people in different countries with the same problem posting within a day of each other. What are the odds? I'll say what I did over there. Sounds like you have a problem with yours. Reception is actually very good with the stock radio. I can travel up into the mountains a good 100 miles away and still get good reception (even in valleys up there).

Yeah, I just bought a 2010 Tacoma and got the stock radio. It sucks. I dont think mine is JBL. When I went to pick up my truck they made me wait in a room that had an Audiovox display. I hope the factory stereo isnt made by Audiovox because its crap. Does anybody know who makes the factory brand radio?
