With the new lift I hate seeing my stock antenna get smacked around in the garage. Anybody know a good FM/AM stubby antenna I could just switch out without running a wire?

@ StormTrooper - not true. Plenty of people have shorter antennas and get reception.

@OP - There are lots of threads about this if you do a search. Lots of us have just cut the stock one and still get reception.

also there is this... Short Antenna

I thought more about this and started thinking this would lessen the reception if done this way?

You did the right thing. I ordered mine from antennaX and I'm very happy. looks, good, doesn't hit the damn door, and plenty of reception. :)
