Inverting it wont make it any smaller... Your just going to have 11 inches of subwoofer sticking out of the box.

I mean if this is what you want to spend your money on, go nuts, get the bigger alternator, another battery, 1/0 power and grounds.

I want something very loud but don't wanna give up the back seats though I just want it to work. I want a 12 in sub that is like that but if it could use a smaller box it would be great. What would u recommend

If you dont want to loose your back seat, you need to stop looking at subwoofer that are 11 inches deep.

Get a pair of JL audio 13tw5s and it will be more than enough to rattle your eye balls, and they will fit behind the rear seat. You dont need 3500 watts either. Remember, the cabin of the tacoma is not very big, and you dont have subwoofers in a different compartment like they are in a cars trunk. The subwoofers are going to be under 4 feet away from you.

Here are 2 of them behind the rear seat of a double cab

It wont be like that. You have a good amount of electronics and linkage under the console. You also dont have enough space between the seats to fit a 12. You have a 12 inch subwoofer, and will want at least 1 inch on each side of the sub. So your looking at a 14 inch wide box at the bare minimum.

Stop watching exo to get ideas on how to install a sub. exo is a good youtuber, but he does SPL in cars designed for SPL. Your truck is designed to take the family to target and get new curtains you didnt need.

But again, if this is what you want to do, I answered your question about what electrical you need to upgrade. Post pictures when your done.

Throw a two 10 inch sub behind the seats with upgraded speakers and tweeters. Learn the specs of subs like how much watts etc. Its a small cab so really it doesn't take much.

yeah but i could have the box narrow between the front seats then extend to the back seat and make it wider back there and put the sub back there

I ordered a set of Skar v10 d4's to replace my Memphis shallows, the price was right so I decided to give them a try
