Summer Overland Expo trip through Nevada.

I think I'm in for this

 

Heres some pictures of up in the Merrit Mountain area, its just west of Jarbidge. Jarbidge is awesome though, its just further from me and I dont get up there as often.




This sign made me laugh, its posted leaving the little town of Jarbidge.

This is over kind of by that Onion reservoir. Its a very cool place too.

If it's on the last weekend of July, then I'll need to find a way to bail on my god daughter's birthday party.

I'd love to come up to Elko man, I think it's just too far for the CA crew. 4 hrs from Reno, then a drive up to Jarbidge or wherever.

Maybe I can come up on another trip, maybe bring some other rigs. I really want to spend a few days exploring the Jarbidge area.

Probably wont make July. We should be in that area in May then June and July gets busy for us. We'll see Chris might be able to make but for sure not me.

 

I love it up around Jarbidge, its beautiful up there. Anytime you, or anyone else wants to come over to this side of the state and cruise around let me know. As long as I'm off I'll go where ever. Just let me know!

More people can do August but OP can only really do July. OP will prob do a July trip, then others can do an August trip if they didn't get to do the July one (or had a lot of fun in July and wanna go back and help lead August crew)

Looks like the BAE folks can do August. If that's the case, then I think I want to go then too. (I can't do July anyway)

 

I'd probably be down to go again in August... maybe.

ok well if anyone wants to start a thread for the weekend of August 18th/19th, I should be in. I don't know anything about the area, so any experienced folks would be great to have come along
