Take off the nut in the top left. Then the other pieces will pull out so you can open up the piece the wires come through. It’s hinged with a snap on one side. I think there was a little piece of tape to remove too.

Now that I have a switchpro, I've totally neglected any knowledge of wiring up an actual dash switch.
I'm moving my ham radio from the switchpro to the blue sea fuse block, and turning it on/off with a dash switch. I'm used to just needing power and ground so running into some knowledge issues.

Isn't a two way switch essentially just opening and closing a circuit? Why on earth are there 4 wires coming out of the back of the dash switch? If one of you more skilled than I can take a peek at this thread I posted in technical chat, I'd appreciate it.

Typically there’s an illumination light which is the 4th wire. So you have pos ground switched and illuminated

you don’t have to wire up the last one. Most people just leave it or tie it to the switched wire.

I searched the thread and found only post #867 - 870.

Installing in a 3rd Gen TRD OR 6MT.

Ordered Power Trays mount with the optional clutch reservoir bracket.

Has anyone used this specific set up? Have pics? I think they sent me the wrong stuff or the stuff is not actually compatible with my configuration... Seems the SP mounted vertically would be in the same place as my clutch reservoir.

    First Photo - Mocked up.
Second Photo - Obviously the tray will be further forward once the clutch res moves.

I think most either have a circle cut out for the clutch reservoir or a bracket to relocate it to somewhere else.

As a side note. I see you have hood struts. I have Redlines’s and I cannot use the cover on the negative bus bar as the strut hits it. It still just barely hits the far stud, without the cover, but I’m not worried about it since it’s a ground and not power.

    Thanks for the heads up!

Totally bummed I installed the struts... Makes it way harder to get to some areas.

This doesn't address any of my questions.

I specifically mentioned that the kit I bought included a relocation bracket.

The very first question was "has anyone used this specific set up?"...

I also specifically said I have the relocation bracket.

I really don't want to argue with anyone or add filler to a solid thread. Just looking for a response from someone that can confirm that I was sent the wrong shit for my install.

I saw the DIY bracket with the hole drilled out for the clutch res in posts #867 - 870. It's nice clean work but is it the exact same set up I am asking about? No. Not even close.

I thought the issue you had was the reservoir, you didn’t mention anything about struts and I didn’t see it.

it depends where the mounting holes on the power tray are. Otherwise you may need some spacers to clear the strut.

I’ve got the SDHQ mount and had to file out a notch for it to fit around my struts.
