Having a Shop do this type of work unless your lucky enough to find one that has done this type of install.

Is really going to be expensive

What is your end game here.

Till your done a 3.4 swap will be much cheaper with lots more support

    Check out LC Engineering.

I personally would stalk the classifieds for a manifold and buy the rest new.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Personally for that budget I'd just get the supercharger that LCE offers, it comes with fueling and ignition management as well.

Do a compression test. Check cylinder health. Change your old cracked vacuum hoses for new. Change the fuel fitler.

After a compression test, you will know if you should upgrade the head gasket and add some ARP studs in, or keep it like it is until you want/need to.

Best bet, is like others said. www.lceperformance.com Your engine is their specialty.

Ok guys thanks I'll go with carefully
I have another engine with bad head and somebody tell me I can use it to rebuild with a turbo kit (cylinders, rings, valves, everything new) but I'll go test the compression of the cylinders (thanks for the idea Torspd)

I turbo'd my motor at 175k a year ago and I've had no issues. Like torspd said, a compression test will really let you know if you need to do any motor work before boosting it. If you're going for a low boost setup (6psi or less), you shouldn't have much more maintenance than before.
