That price sounds great. Considering mine is an 08 TRD Sport 4x4 Access cab and I got it for $27,500 back in July with no backup camera, which would have been nice for me.
Sorry to hear about your truck. Like the other guys said, a bent frame is no good. Especially if you want to sell your truck in the future. Get it totaled and get a new one. Sorry I don't have any advice for you but watch out for those insurance guys. They will try to talk you out of anything that will cost them more money. Stay calm and think about what he says. Don't let him force you into agreeing with anything unless you are certain about it.

Maybe his insurance company is working with the other guys insurance company? You know my people will talk to your people and total the damn truck!

I see a brandy new 2009 in your future man. Keep the faith!

Mass. being a no fault state it doesn't matter that he hit you. You still deal with your ins. company. They will pay for everything.

If they won't total the truck then I'd talk to a lawyer and see what he says.

DO NOT sign anything with the insurance company until YOU are happy.

    Good luck.

    flowmaster 40,
Had the same thing happen to me. Frame bent because the car that hit me caught on the hitch and bent the hitch down. Bent the frame behind the wheels. All insurance would do is straighten the frame. Said since it bent behind th wheels it would not affect anything? Anyway - thats what they did and it seems fine. Just worried about the dimimished value whenI go to sell. Insurance is such a rip off.

By the way - new to the post - 06 tacoma prerunner doublecab - friggen love it!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...

thats one hell of a deal on the 09....and as for the other accessories, i'd just keep the mats and the rack to use on the 09 and just sell the cover since ur getting the bigger bed

that does sound like a good deal. I can't get anywhere near that price. Glad that worked out for you. Since your truck was pretty new I hope you get enough to pay off your truck or have gap insurance.
