Tacoma Front Camera

Does Toyota dealers install front cameras? If not, where do I go to get a front camera installed in my Tacoma? I am still under warranty.

 

They should, but it won’t be cheap

 

Just go with one of the anytimebackupcamera front cams, that’s what I did.

 

go aftermarket and youtube will guide the way

 

Use the anytime rear cam and front cam combo. Super easy to install bye at bing their videos and/or their instructions. This was my first truck so I bought it because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to hit someone or something pulling into parking spots and whatnot. Super helpful

 

Warranty smarranty, they wont tell you you've blown your warranty if you install your own front camera. There’s a lot of options here, the easiest one is a plug and play model but it’s kind of expensive.

Anyone know how to get rid of the upside down triangle on the front camera?

What software is used to do this?

 

I don't know that there is a way to remove it from the OEM setup. I was just referring to the fact the triangle shape is programmed in, rather than a physical aspect of the camera.
