Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

When did you buy your tune kit? @OVTune hasn't been selling dongle kits since june or before. You sure you don't have the dongleless kit?

 

You obvioulsy have never heard of the TZ750 flat-tracker about which "King" Kenny Roberts said...."“They don’t pay me enough to ride that thing”!

I snagged the dongle kit off a guy in buy/sell a couple weeks ago after getting the go ahead from Mat.

 

Hey guys FYI just because we post something on facebook that isn't tacoma related doesn't mean we aren't working on tacoma. We do multiple things at the same time

 

Well...I mean....software developers wrote the original software/tune....so by his logic, just driving it with the stock tune is a risk.

 

But if you stopped working on those other things you could finish 1.05 more quickly!

Before you have concerns about some soft ware developers fear mongering.
We need to know of any tuning desasters to begin with.
I have known and heard of many who have tuned and never heard anything negative but smiles.
The only danger is over clocking the engine far past it’s duty cycle and this is done by request (like doubling the hrs power) most cumin by racers.
I have been here from the beginning and nobody here is talking anyware near that level,including the turbo project.

 

One-oh-fer or one-oh-fer r. Depends on your ECU eh.

 

Drove to work today and had to pass a slow poke driving in the fast lane. Running 1.04r and when I went to give it some gas (what I was use to in 1.04) it ripped off the line and surprised the heck out of me

Definitly more pep than 1.04
