Yes. But they create the UPS label but may not ship at the same time. Just check back. Either way, you’ll get a text and email when the label is created.

 

First dealer I went to wouldn't apply the TSB without being able to "verify" a problem first. Then in spite of telling me they drove it around for half an hour and couldn't duplicate my complaint they didn't even bother test driving the truck (guess they didn't notice the dash cam). Hopefully next dealer will be more cooperative. I'm really jonesing to get my tune done.

 

There is no order cut off for new features/updates even custom tuning in reason has been stated as free and available to all customers both old and new, so since you don't have your hardware yet get your system id setup so you're ready to go if you haven't yet. Also READ THE INSTRUCTIONS then if you have a question about something ask then.

 

1. Updates are available for all versions, all order numbers.
2. Regardless of when you ordered, there is new stuff coming with the new flash manager
3. Regardless of current status of your kit, you will have access to new stuff / features etc.

We provide tracking with shipment. We run out of stock quickly and are getting more cables continually. Usually there is a 2-3 day wait on shipping if we are waiting on more cables. Like right now.

Does your product fix the "Thud when coming to stop" problem? it likely caused by downshifting from gear 2 to 1. A cold engine makes this problem worse. I have been to the dealership twice, they claimed: "it's normal". I hear your product from another post. I am new to this forum, and I understand you may have already answered this question, I appreciated your time in advance!

^^^ Same question. Also interested in how OVTune handles downshifting from second to first when slowing down somewhat quickly to a stop.

 

In my experience, it reduces it from stock, but doesn't truly eliminate it - but generally will only happen once or twice on a cold start if coming to a stop at a light or stop sign in my experience then settles down.

I wish I didn't get the TSB so I could flash back to old files. 1.03 was awesome for towing

 

it is common, it is a symptom of these trucks and the auto transmissions

 

It did for me. After flashing 1.05 and after the 2nd drive the 2>1 hard downshift was gone. I'm at over a 1000 miles on 1.05 Loving it!
Running 93 octane version btw

Edit: damn thing did it to me again the day after posting this.

 

This is exactly how it is on my truck. 1.05 lessened it, but still get a few when the truck isnt to temp.

My driveway, near Sun Valley, Idaho. It's been really cold (well, not compared to the midwest, but for us) so the snow hasn't melted and is just hanging on the trees.

 

Never had 1.03 and never had TSB other than going to 04B03. What is it about 1.03 vs 1.05 that we should request Mat @OVTune to do for us? I have thought about going back to 1.04 as I like the 3>4 better than 1.05 3>4. Other than that 1.05 is fine.
