    You got it. And yes you should be able to load all tunes for the 04B04 including 1.04R and the legacy 1.05 tunes.

    From what I understand, as of this am, there will be a 1.0.3 repack for us 32 bit windows users having issues installing FM, which I have yet to see be posted up by @OVTune. I’m sure he is working on it.

    Keep getting “application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)”

    With the 1.02 installs....

    Help! Haha

    I’m usually pretty good at this stuff. But don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Have read all instructions. Running parallels on a Mac if that makes any difference.

    If your laptop is already set up to flash anyway, just use flash manager to download the tune files continue with the old method.

    Flash Manager was supposed to make this all easier lol, sounds like people are over thinking it!

    I think Mat just overestimated the technological literacy of TW users lol

    Did you unzip the downloaded folder with the install file in it before trying to run the install?

    Is there going to be a performance file for MT? I only see base and FOB.

    It unzips automatically, and installs successfully. Just can’t get it to open. Keep getting that error. I’m just going to wait for the rebuild at this point as I can’t get it to work whatsoever.

    Did I miss where Mat recommends clearing the learned values in the instructions? I know he mentioned doing so in one of his TW posts, but I didn’t see it in the new tuning instructions. Those of you doing it are using Techstream or battery disconnect because it’s not in the FM correct?

    Also, clearing the learned values is to address idle problems right? Or would it possibly help with other concerns like misfires?

    It is not necessarily required, but not a terrible idea to do. FM and PCMFlash do not have it built in (yet? Mat was going to look into adding it). What it does is let the truck start off fresh with no learned values. It can help with idle learning as well as fuel trims and may prevent minor issues in the first 100 miles or so.

    @OVTune,
    Mat, do you still recommend to unplug the battery and clear learning values?
    Weird, but orininal 87 1.05 on my truck was behaving nicely for past 36 hours. Was getting <=5 misfire.
    I had reset learning values about a week ago and it seems settled down after 200 miles.
    Thanks

    @OVTune

    I was able to download everything easily even when getting the dll errors. Just followed a 2 min YouTube video on how to fix that and I was good to go in less than 15 mins. I sent in the System ID and everything so it seemed very straight forward.

    I was just wondering when my package would be shipped out since UPS screwed my order up. Order #3824. Realize you are busy but just wanted to make sure I was on the list to get one sent since yesterday you were hit with hundreds of comments. Thanks!
