Hah! Mine's struggling with Vista... or whatever came before 7. It's at least 10 years old. I was really tempted to get a Surface Go and delicense if from S mode. But a handheld is cheaper, though the wait clearly longer.

Tacos have Taco holders. So you have somewhere to put your taco as you shred it up with 1.05performancetune

I just redid my flash and did the same ( clear ECU and TCU learning first ) and drive it for a couple miles. Petal is a lot less touchy of the line and seems a little less jerky. I don’t know, but seems better than the first time I did the flash and cleared learning after. @OVTune ?

But that graph actually says that all three are improved at ~17.5 versus stoichiometric.

Aw dang. My Tack doesn’t have a Taco holder.

Well. Going to have to ask @mesojdm to fabricate something new now...

Yeah, didn't like it, even with ECT. Upshifted sooner and downshifts took longer when needing to go faster. Gained about 1 MPG per trip but that alone wasn't worth it to me. Hope it works out better for you.

Has anyone run the 93 perf and then switched to the 87 perf tune?

Thoughts on performance if you have...

Yeah watch the video the other day and asked the same question. Still have to send files back and forth. Isn’t this why we have the inter-webs? So it can just do it automatically?

Went from 91 to 87 performance. Feels identical to the way they shift and throttle response.

thx. that's good to hear. might switch it today to check it out, if I can
save some cash at the pump and the power feels the same that would be nice.

With 93perf. I disabled my always on ECT mod for the first time since I put it in,
it changed the aggressive tip-in completely.

    will do

93 perf. feels awesome, tip-in, low end mid... all of it, if 87 perf. doesn't feel just
as good I'll go right back. I don't drive the truck much more than a daily driver so
I may as well have some fun with it. 3.5 yrs. and I just hit 29k yesterday :D

Same here, I want to buy a techstream, but I am computer illiterate.
I searched the forums and found this thread about buying it: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/carista-or-tis-techstream.465429/#post-13913572
And instructions to set it up: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ine-ecu-reflash.515734/page-179#post-17404450
Anyone who has a techstream, IS THIS CORRECT?

I was about to pull the trigger on this but my laptop just died of all things. I have a laptop i can borrow. When I get this thing does it just get registered to the truck only or is it also somehow tied to the laptop too?

You have to send the laptop system ID to OVTune and you will receive a file back from OVTune that you place in the laptop registry. So yes whatever laptop you register will be tied to the process.
