Don't stress yourself out. Relax and it will all eventually work out. Some of us have been working with the tunes and waiting on updates for the last two years. There are exiting days, followed by long periods of waiting. It has always been worth the wait in the end.

 

A simple and elegant solution, for a simple problem.

It serves no purpose for those who prefer to complain.............

 

Perhaps having all of the relevant information in a single place should be priority, for example a section of the blog that details the latest Tune with info and further down it can shown previous/older updates with all the relevant info.

I know the blog has something like this but it's rarelh updated and there is a lot of info that is seen on this thread but not there.

Just post all the vital info there and direct people to the blog, info gets lost too easily in FB and forum posts.

Once the 2.0 final comes out, it shouldn't need constant updating.

In flash manager, I have "OPTIONS" and have no idea what they are:

Dongle: Yes
Year: 2020
ECU Cal: 04B80AT
Tune Version: 2.0
Options: BaseOL
SuperFOB
BaseDump
Supe...Dump

What are these 4 different "options"?

 

Cant keep up with this thread. Did we get the updated links yet? Been running 2.0 from links posted a few days ago for about a hundred miles or so and getting intermittent start up studder. Also doesn't seem to drive quiet as lovely as 2.0 from a few weeks ago when the cold start up studder was real bad.

I agree that organizing all of this info will be important, but I'd also rather have him focus his energy on and finish the 2.0 tests so that we have a safe "final" released for all ECUs in a week or two.

Then work on organizing all of this information one time instead of spending hours upon hours constantly updating for tunes that are ultimately taken out of operation. Currently, the information is convoluted and messy, yes; but the tunes are actually close to being finished. I think things will become much more clear once development is completed. We've made it this far. We can deal with the messiness for a couple more weeks.

 

VF Tuner software is what we have been working on for years, so once 2.0 releases it will be our priority to clean up all info and get everything clear on 1 platform

 

@OVTune any update on revised 04b04 test tune for cold start stumble.

 

If I was Matt I would close this thread and only work with a few of the reliable testers with each ECU. This is a developmental thread and is not for what is released. What a bunch of fucking babies. If you can't keep up wait for the release to come out. Then you just download it and read what is in it. End rant
