We did not *promise* it christmas 2019. That was our first timeline of when we wanted to get it released.

I have explained this multiple times.

The best thing I can recommend to a new customer or someone confused is just walk away from this thread. There are more trolls than anything else these days.

    What 93 OLE file?
Do you mean the Premium OLE file?
If so yes, but you will notice some immediate loss of performance until the ignition control logic cleans up.

This thread cracks me up. I used to get angry and now I just come here to feel better about myself. I bought in thinking it could be vaporware but I was really sick of my truck. Things move slow and the details are confusing but so far the product is solid and my truck is much improved. You could always wait till the truck is old and all the kinks are worked out. The VF stock tune alone puts me in a better spot than I was in with my old mustang with a carb.

As I stated before, this user (Scralatchtica824) is a troll. Do your selfs a favor and put him on ignore list. Unhelpful, sometimes straight up false / lies are toxic in this thread.

Yes what about us very quiet and patient, but still very excited hand held users? Can't wait to finally try out one of these 2.0 final files we've been reading so much about!

Seeing as I have an old system (TFM)... I’m probably way behind the curb and now more confused about how to download the 2.0 for my taco on 33s. I really need to get updated and caught up... who wants to volunteer to help me out lol ... I can pay in beer if you’re local to DFW

If you are an AT, then 04B04 is the latest for a 2017.

If you are an MT, then 04B14 is the latest.

I’m MT. But haven’t been to the dealer in a long while. I’m out of my warranty already but wasn’t sure about having the ecu up to date

ECU TSBs are part of the powertrain emissions warranty:

    upload_2020-5-27_10-47-41.jpg

As @b3itz said, updating at home is the better route. Attached are the TSB and CUW file.

Follow the instructions and tips here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/software-update-for-the-manual.562550/

Do NOTE that OVT does not have tune files supporting 04B14 just yet.
