So I’m assuming this means you’re more comfortable with the DI/PI implementation on the new 2.0 tunes?

 

Imo they're both useful. Gearlock on a hill with the throttle plate wide open, (in a "higher" gear) seems counterintuitive to me. But flat ground, locked in 5th or 6th with minimal throttle angle seems beneficial. I could be thinking wrong though.

Just flashed mine. I just recorded a 10 minute video of my first thoughts with the tune while driving it in city and highway. I'm going to be uploading it in about 10 minutes! It is the 04b04 base thx tune. On my 2016 Toyota Tacoma.

So here are my thoughts initially on the new 2.0 tune. 04b04 thx base (I say 97 octane one time in the video but I actually mean 87) coming from 1.05 beta this is great

 

I'm stuck waiting for GL release. No point in flashing and breaking in a tune only to have to do it all over again.

 

What function does the ECT button have in this version?

What does enhanced throttle even really do? I’m coming off 1.05 performance and I Gotta say coming from that this truck feels like there’s no good throttle response it feels under powered but smarter if that makes sense like more refined but I don’t have that instant underfoot. Wondering if I should try with no throttle enhance or maybe the 33” one? Currently did. 2.0 premium stock with enhanced. Anyone else coming off 1.05 missing that tippy punch drunk lead foot?

 

So I can load this tune with the old dongle setup I been out of the loop for a while
