My hitch was getting rusty so I sanded the rust down and Plasti- dipped it.

I have seen commercials on the t.v about this flex seal stuff. And it seems like it is alot like plasti dip. The commercial says that it is liquid rubber in a can. But it seems a little different. Is this stuff better than plasti dip?!

Thinking of P-dipping my 1st gen grille black as it is the ugly base model grey color....just do not know how it will hold up over the winter with all the salt and sand they use here peppering it?

May krylon it black 1st so if the P-Dip lets go a bit it will still be black underneath.

My only experience with P-dip was on my Tundra centercaps...like how they turned out and easy to use!

Plati-Dip Badges & Removed a few, added D-rings in Bed, added recovery D-shackle, Added Front Recovery Hook, TRD Skid Plate-Rhinoed, added 2 mini tie downs, removed rear seat headrests.
I have stock rims & want them Black, I have read several threads on the "Changing the color of the Rims", but wanted some opinions on what process to use please; Paint?, Plasti Dip?, or Bedliner? I was going to go with Bedliner due to the fact that it might hold up better on & off road... Thanks for the input!

http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/51358-painting-stock-rims-easy.html..........good thread for prepping the wheels and spraying.....follow this and use whatever you prefer plasti dip/paint....if you are unsure of how it would look use plasti dip first ...you can always go back and paint them later if you like the look....and as for the red accents i would plasti dip/paint first black then let dry and tape off around where your accenting red....like the other guy said they do make a red plasti dip so this also would let you see how it looks before you commit to painting it if you wanted to.....the plasti dip holds up very well in pretty extreme conditions....I had it on my rims on my accord for about 6 months before any noticebale chips but I also didnt drive on any crazy roads with debris flying at it....hope this helps brother:thumbsup:

So far I've Plasti-Dipped my rear bumper and I recently did these Nikon binoculars because they originally only came in this cheesy hunter camo theme.
