    Objective:
This build thread will focus on the build out of the topper into a camping/base-camp setup for our hiking/backpacking/climbing excursions. Included will be some electrical upgrades and some aesthetic changes. There will not be future upgrades to the wheels/tires/suspension as stock should suffice for our intended uses.

    Backstory:
My gf and I both owned 2005 Subaru Outbacks and after years of trusted ownership and regular maintenance I lost the engine due to a thrown rod and my gf lost hers to different engine trouble among other issues having driven to AK and back for the summer. Both vehicles were lost within a year of each other. In dire need of a vehicle for the both of us we began looking for something more capable for off road travel with a slightly greater payload. After falling in love with the Off Road package, the decision was easy and the the Snowtrooper was born.

Earlier this week I began prepping the platform for coating in x10 Restore by Rustoleum. A touch of primer on the bare wood.

Yesterday I did the application. I love how this will match the composite bed.

Got my Wet Okole seat covers from the group buy installed couple weeks back. I love the look and really appreciate the protection they offer.
