I don't have a clue where it will be with the new setup. But that is pretty close to where it was with the old built engine.

 

Definitely smart to be proactive though, I tend to learn these lessons the hard way, I'd have probably ran the stock plastic one till it sploded.

 

Dude. I am so ready to get that new engine in, and tuned by Chis Delgado. Now that most of the suspension bugs have been worked out, it is at least ready to be able to smash the skinny pedal.

Still need to figure out the front coilovers and get the billet UCAs.

I have taken ques from lessons learned on other people's different vehicle builds. For my intake, I have been using the 350Z intake as a boost capacity reference point. 18 psi is usually where those tend to fail. I was already consistently to 14.7 psi. That was one reason why I never went any higher before. Among the other obvious ones. Lol.

 

Hmm.. I've never really bothered searching other forums except TW and Xru. Not till I bought the scion tC and even then I just sticked to the Scion forums. Not a bad idea to fish for knowledge from other sources though.

 

Finally got around to getting a picture of the quick disconnect for the slave cylinder. One of the best mods ever!





As well as cruising in 4th at 40mph. Fuelly! 50 in 5th is the same.

 

I'd like to see the RPM's on that scangauge...

I kind of wish that the extent of my driving was on roads that were that speed limit. 45. Lol.

It fluctuates between 17-22 on the freeway. So not out of the norm there.

Not quite sure on skinny pedal MPG? Still breaking in the new clutch. And haven't been racing around yet. I know it will drop though. And a lot once the turbo is back on. Small price to pay.

 

Hmm... I was averaging about 23-25 (Winter-Summer) Mpg on my S/c'd Xrunner, but I know the lowering and body kit + less weight helped me out lots.

 

Less weight is the biggest aid in better gas mileage. I need to get mine re-weighed. I have a strong feeling that mine should currently be around 3600 lbs.

 

??? Naaah with your 4wd system you'll be aroun 3800 unless you've done alot of weight trimming as well. I was 3570 after S/c system and all.
