Does any one have experince in maybe towing a 31 ft. travel trailer with a new tacoma/ with the tow package. It has a extra switch on the dash that gives a much lower gears but it does not go so fast. this is the first time i have had a toyota. any thoughts on this?

2004 F-350...uh lots of motor work to go fast...er. Way to much to list. 2001: 3" leveling kit, ARB bumper, lightforce 240 blitz, 35" KM2s. SOLD 2008: OME 886s 90000 with dakars, LR UCAs, 5% tint, Satashi. SOLD 2015: Flooded and Gone
yes, put bags under the rear and brake controller box. but i wouldn't go over 20ft...i hauler a 1 ton car trailer with my 01 v6 and it pulls and stops perfectly fine. hauled a jeep few days ago...only problem i had was no bags.

The only thing you have that gives lower gears is if you have a 4x4 and go into 4L.

Do NOT EVER run 4L or 4H on pavement. It will destroy your transfer case.
