    No mods whatsoever!
FYI. Walmart and Cracker Barrel are camper friendly. Lol.

A lot of Walmarts are starting to deny campers. Seem there are some that abused the system and made themselves at home. I'd call ahead if you are planning a Walmart overnight.

The walmart down the road from me has to many syringes in the parking lot. I avoid that one and drive to the next closest. Both have banned overnight camping.

I have a Lance 1475 and a 2018 Tacoma that I need to set up my P2 brake controller on. Where did you end up mounting the controller?

I spotted this at one of the local walmarts last week. I could not resist snapping a pic!

Hey IP Stevie - We just picked up a used 2015 Lance 1575 - we have the same truck as you.

We towed the camper once so far with no WDH / anti sway - it towed just fine to be honest - but for insurance I am wondering if I should add WDH??

Which one did you get - how do you like it?

    Thanks

I think people are pushing their luck if you are towing something heavier than 3000-3500k without a WDH. I use the Anderson. At first I was skeptical since it is not your typical design. But I tell you I'm so glad I went with the Anderson It works perfectly, easy to set up and a snap to hitch. Plus you can crank it in reverse without worrying if you need to pop trunion bars. It's not noisy either. I highly recommend the Anderson. This is coming from a guy with almost 40yrs of trailering experience.

I never understand posts like this. Tacoma is rated for 6800 pounds. Your saying it can only safely tow 3000? Come on. SAE J2807 .

Just my opinion from my personal experience towing my camper in the mountains.
I'm not saying it can only tow 3,000, just what I feel comfortable with based on my experience.

Yup, wind and hills kill this truck when towing

I just did a test drive with a new Andersen WDH on a 4400lbs camper (its a off road pop up with a deck on the front). I had 400 lbs of tongue weight with the deck empty, tag says deck will hold 800 lbs. the truck came down even at all 4 fenders about 1/2".
Trailer pulled titts. ..during set-up they tell you to put the full load on the tongue. ...headlights were pointing up at the sky.
I'm glad i bought the Andersen.
