I bought This switch because I thought I messed up the first switch I had but ended up fixing the first one. Return shipping to thailand is too much so if anyone needs a brand new hilux switch to do the lighted 4x4 switch mod i have one brand new $60 shipped OBO.

You will gave to solder in new leds to change the color. I believe it comes with green leds not white like I have in the picture. Kgarrett11 sells the silver ring to fit in the oem dash hole.

What did you mess up? I know what you mean I sent it back not realizing how much it was going to be. It wasn’t worth it. My second one still does not work.

I changed the leds and must have oriented the new leds wrong and it didnt light up. I re soldered the leds checking them with a multimeter as I went along and now it works great. Yea you must have an issue with your wiring maybe?

Switch is brand new never used. I have two switches, one which i changed the color of the leds and is installed in my tacoma, and this one which i dont need and never been installed. You will need to run two wires from your hvac panel to the switch by splicing into the illumination wires in your hvac harness and running them to the switch. There is a few threads on doing this. You also need a ring sold by kgarrett11 becuause the hilux switch is smaller than the tacoma one and wont install directly into the existing hole in your dash.

Otherwise you can do the 4runner 4x4 switch that fits directly into the dash bc its the same size.A6C8DDA5-0D27-4E47-AEED-3DD98158BA53.jpg56CBF179-5809-4C66-ADB2-58B3096875A1.jpg
I have one of those I want to sell also.
