When coming to a stop at the point just before completely stopping I have noticed that the truck wants to lunge forward almost like it had slipped. Upon acceleration there is really no noticeable slipping however I do have a hard kick down when using cruise and going from overdrive back to fith. Is this something that may be cured by the TSB, or has anyone else noticed this problem?

Mine does that only after I have been stopped at a red light for a couple of seconds...I just ignore it. It doesnt do it all the time, I just have to make sure my foot is on the brake...

X2. Mine jumps forward a lil right after i turn on my AC. but only right after i turn it on.

but if it feels that ur tranny wants to downshift too early, as ur slowing down, i guess its normal operation of our trany, i thought i had a problem until other members clearified my issue. hope it helps.

I just got a 2006 4X4 DC LB TRD and it does the same thing. I was worried about it too since the truck has a 3" lift on it and I thought maybe something wasn't level. Took it to my mechanic and he couldn't find anything wrong with it by looking at it quickly. Mine does it with or without the A/C on. Not sure if it's normal but to be sure I'm going to have it checked out this weekend again to be sure.

I noticed mine does it more with AC off. I thought it was compressor related as well.

I don't think the problem I have is the same, it happens to me when my A/C is off. My RPMs don't rev up at all when it happens. Everything else sounds about right though. It happens to me when I'm coming to a stop, bout 2-5 MPH while I'm applying pressure on the brake.

When I take off I don't remember feeling any bang or anything like that... Hmmmm.. I think its time for me to go for a drive and pay more attention.
